Unlike most high-street children's ranges, Fruit of the Loom does not label kids' clothes by age. Each size is a number that corresponds to the child's height in centimetres. That is deliberate: two seven-year-olds can differ by 15 cm, so height is a far more reliable guide than a birthday.
